Former Gatanga legislator, Kimani Njuguna, has called for the scrutiny of the degrees of all Kenyan leaders elected on August 8.Njuguna claimed that 10 percent of elected leaders ascended to the office using dubious papers to get into office.He spoke today during a celebration of his Ph.D. that he got from the University of Nairobi.''We need values to govern our way of life. It is sad that many of our politicians have gotten into office using fake papers. An audit should be carried out to ascertain the authenticity of this papers,'' Kimani said.Cabinet Secretay Fred Matiang'i decried the prevalence of fake papers, saying that the Ministry of Education would crack down on Kenyans with fake papers.
