Former Gor Mahia successful Head Coach Frank Nuttal is currently in trouble after he allegedly defrauded his Club 56,000 US dollars from a mischievous transfer of players.
Nuttal who led Green Army into a marvelous 2015 Kenya Premier League (KPL) season where they finished the campaign unbeaten has also been sacked by the directors of Accra Hearts of Oak club where he has committed the offense.
According to a confidential report by the Oak’s management, the tactician was being investigated for his bad conduct and it emerged that he defrauded the club US$ 50,000 and later US$ 6,000 from the transfer of two players whose identity was hidden.
“Therefore, it has been recommended that the Coach is dismissed and that a legal action was taken against him for the money to be recovered,” read part of the report.
Despite the Coach pleading with the Club not to sack him, the board of directors has dismissed him today for the gross misconduct.
He left the Kógalo after the conclusion of the 2015 season following a disagreement with the Club’s management on a 50 percent pay cut.
Nuttal was then employed by Egyptian side Zamalek FC after which he was sacked a month later for unclear reasons. In his tenure in Gor Mahia, he was crowned as the KPL 2015 Coach of the year.
