Former Gor Mahia winger Timonah Wanyonyi is among the 16 new signings confirmed at Nakumatt FC ahead of the 2018 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) season.

Team Head Coach Anthony Mwangi has faith in his experience  and it will be of importance in  in guiding the team this season. 

“We are happy to have him back. He is a very talented and experienced player and I hope he will help guide the new players coming into the team.”

The tactician notes that his target this season is to support the team finish in a respectable position.

“We are basically rebuilding the team and it is not an easy task bearing in mind that we have very many new players. My main target will be to ensure the team avoids relegation and finish in a better position than last year,” he said.

The team starts its 2018 league campaign with a match against Gor Mahia FC at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos from 3PM.

“We will approach just like any other match. They are the defending champions and we respect them but anything can happen within 90 minutes. We hope to start on a positive note and are really working hard in training,” he concluded.
