Former Garissa County gubernatorial aspirant also doubling up as the chairman of Garissa Public Service Board Harun Mohamed has sworn allegiance to governor hopeful Ali Bunow Korane.
Mohamed took the move after accusing current governor Nathif Jama of failure and negligence in his four-year reign.
While addressing a Samawathal delegation, the 2013 gubernatorial aspirant said that Jama has neglected the people of Ijaara where he, Mohammed, hails from and thus does not deserve a second term.
"I hope I have made serious consultations and I stand with my decision,” said Mohammed.
He further affirmed that he will not be vying for the same elective post that he lost to Governor Jama, and instead chose to support Korane.
