Richard Shedu, former Harambee Stars coach is seeking for financial help, to enable him to undergo treatment in India.
The former coach needs Sh1.8 million to undergo an operation on his leg, which he broke almost five years ago.
He has undergone several operations before, but the problem keeps popping up every now and then.
“I broke my leg five years while training Bandari and since then I have undergone three operations. But after the operations, my left leg has kept worsening and right now I cannot walk properly," he said while speaking to the media last week.
Shedu is now organizing for a fundraiser to help him raise the cash, which will help him finance his trip.
“Football is the only thing I can do... but if I am unable to walk there is nothing much I can do and so this is a passionate appeal for help to help me get back on my feet,” said Shedu.
The coach is now at Star Soccer Academy, but his work has been affected by the injury.
