National Super League (NSL) side Nakuru All Stars have fired head coach George Maina and hired former Ingwe coach Ezekiel Akwana.

Maina who handled the Nakuru side in the Sportpesa Super Cup tournament in Tanzania is said to have parted ways with the team on mutual agreement.

"We have parted ways with coach George Maina on a mutual agreement. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors. Former AFC Leopards coach Ezekiel Akwana takes over immediately," the side confirmed.

All Stars have experienced turbulent times with the latest outing ending 4-0 against GFE 105  in their second match of the second leg of the league.
