Kenyans saw him outside the monstrosity that is the Central Bank of Kenya addressing the press after the dramatic arrest of Nandi Hills lawmaker Alfred Keter and his accomplices.
What took many by surprise is the way he asserted his authority when Alfred Keter requested to speak and a stone-faced Mr. Wallace Kantai said no, humbling the outspoken MP.
''Allow me to say something,'' Keter requested.
''No no!'' Wallace Kantai shot back with finality.
Within no time, Keter was bundled into a waiting van and sped to the station.
Wallace Kantai is a former journalist who did a stint at the Nation Media group before being poached by the Central Bank of Kenya in the communications docket.
During his stint at NMG, Wallace Kantai curved his niche as a fine mind.
