Former AFC Leopards striker Kepha Aswani has refused to rule out a potential return to the 'den' despite his acrimonious fallout with the club two years ago.
This is after reports emerged that the thirteen times Kenyan champions were at an advanced stage in their talks to lure the former striker back to their fold.
The burly goal poacher who is currently on national duty with Harambee Stars in the ongoing Cecafa senior challenge tourney said that football is a journey and he could still feature for Ingwe if granted the opportunity.
"Playing football has always been my priority and to do it at the top level is something I relish.Depending on how the negotiations go, I might be back at Leopards for next season", who emerged the top scorer for KPL newcomers Nakumatt Fc in the just concluded 2017 season.
Aswani added that the discipline issues that led to the bitter fallout with Ingwe's technical bench that also saw him fired towards the tail end of the 2015 season were now water under the bridge and that he was focussing on better things ahead.
"What happened in the past had happened and I don't wish to dwell on it", Aswani told Sportpesa News on Wednesday.
Lack of goals was a major contributor to Leopard's struggles in the 2017 campaign and head coach Robert Matano vowed to address it during the December-January transfer window period.
