Former AFC Leopards striker Kepha Aswani struck twice to help Nakumatt beat Kakamega Homeboyz at Mumias Complex on October 15.
The Kenya Premier League (KPL) encounter ended 2-1 in favour of the visitors.
It was Homeboyz who struck first in the 39th minute with Wycliffe Opondo making good use of his one on one situation with Nakumatt custodian Ezekiel Owade.
But Aswani restored parity in the 56th minute when Homeboyz defenders failed to fully clear the ball from their danger area.
He would again rise in the three added minutes when he tapped in an easy ball from a corner kick.
The two goals now take him into contention for the Golden Boot Award this season.
