Speaking to Journalists on Saturday in Kisii town, Siro said the hooliganism experienced was aggravated by some youth who had wrong motives and demanded for quick investigations over the alleged police killings and shooting of an innocent driver at Tuskys bus stage.

He further called on the area police boss to ensure that the police, who was driving the lorry which caused the accident, is arrested and prosecuted according to the Traffic Act which prohibits driving of traffic offenders’ vehicles by the police guarding road safety.

“I demand for immediate arrest of the police in question. He should be brought to book. We cannot afford to lose our people because of carelessness of the law enforcers who should be offering safety to us,” said Siro.

The former mayor becomes the forth leader from Kisii to condemn and express his concern over last week's accident and the subsequent lawlessness orchestrated by Gusii Institute students.
