In an interview  in Nakuru on Thursday, the former mayor said the bill, if passed, will be a big blow to Nakuru residents.

“The county assembly of Nakuru can pass more bills that are paramount, but we see them passing as bills is unbearable. How can you put high penalty on Kenyans through some bills?I want to call on them to amend the bill before it is passed,” he said.

The controversial bill is now at the county Assembly for debate and public views on whether it should be amended or passed the way it is.
