Former Cooperatives Minister Joseph Nyagah has launched his bid to occupy State House.

Nyagah during the Wednesday event dismissed the popular notion of a two-horse race, in reference to the Jubilee and Nasa candidates – President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga.

He has insisted that he is not a third horse in the race to State House, but rather he is faster one.

He said that the hunger crisis facing the country is enough to make Kenyans demand for alternative leadership.

“I don't need to tell you our country faces many problems, the question is, why don’t we overcome them?" he asked.

In his vision for the country should he win, Nyagah said he will form an all-inclusive government.

He will also end "irresponsible borrowing that is crippling the economy".

He said he will give priority to education, provide necessary resources as well as accelerate education reforms. He also pledged to end corruption in government if elected.
