Former Ganze Member of Parliament Joseph Kahindi Kingi has died.

Kahindi died while undergoing a medical checkup in India.

The former Internal Security Assistant Minister is said to have been suffering from bile duct cancer.

Reports indicate that Mr Kingi  passed on Mondaynight. 

The deceased served as the Assistant Minister in former President Mwai Kibaki's cabinet for one year.

He also served the Ganze people for four years.
