Former Cherangany MP Kipruto arap Kirwa has quit Ford Kenya and joined Amani National Congress (ANC).
Kirwa, who vied for the Trans Nzoia Senatorial seat in 2013 was officially received to ANC by party leader Musalia Mudavadi on Tuesday.
He is joining ANC at a time ANC is warming up joining ODM, Ford Kenya and Wiper to form the much awaited National Super Alliance to challenge President Uhuru Kenyatta during the August elections.
"As Hon Kipruto arap Kirwa joins my party ANC I look forward to his seasoned input in bringing positive change to the party and by extension the country," Mudavadi posted on his official Facebook page after receiving the former Agriculture Minister to the party.
Kirwa is a seasoned politician and is expected to steer ANC to a higher level as the country prepares for the August polls.
