Garissa County ODM woman rep candidate for the August 8 election Fatuma Kinsi has said the group from Northern Kenya that went to State House, Nairobi, last week Thursday were self seekers.
According to Kinsi the members visited president Uhuru for their own personal interest.
She said those who went to State House are cronies and family members of senior Jubilee party leaders from the region.
She dismissed that the leaders' visit will have an impact on Raila Odinga's votes.
She said NASA presidential candidate Raila will still get more votes in the repeat of polls.
"Raila has massive support among residents since they believe he is the only leader who can address their problems. The leaders' visit to State house was a waste of time", she said.
Her remarks comes after a delegation of about 20,000 people drawn from the pastoral counties of Garissa, Wajir, Isiolo, Mandera and Marsabit assured President Uhuru Kenyatta of their support on October 26 during their visit.Kinsi lost to Jubilee candidate Anab Subow.
