Former Lamu Woman Representative Shakila Abdalla has urged NASA top leaders to remain united and push for the country’s reforms.
Shakila states that NASA top leaders have no option but to stick together for the sake of millions of Kenyans who are nursing injustices perpetuated by Jubilee regime.
Speaking to journalists in Lamu Town on Thursday, Shakila who is also Wiper party deputy leader said that the millions of Kenyans are looking on Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi as people to liberate the country.
She said that Kenyans will lose hope if NASA top leaders give up on the push for electoral reforms.
“We urge our principals to remain united and push this agenda forward for the sake of Kenyans and the generations to come,” she said.
The former MP asked NASA leaders not to be swayed by Jubilee offers and instead fulfill the promise they made to millions of Kenyans.
Shakila who lost re-election in the August 8 polls urged Kenyans not to give up sating that the fruits of liberation and justice will come.
She accused Jubilee government of trying to cause conflicts in NASA in efforts to weaken the alliance.
“We know what they (Jubilee) are planning but we will not fall for it,” she said.
Shakilla, however, called for unity among Kenyans stating that push for reforms is for every Kenyan whether NASA or Jubilee.
NASA has maintained that the push for reforms is unstoppable. The opposition states that plans to swear in Raila Odinga early next year are complete even as the government wars against the move.
On Thursday, Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka said warned Jubilee saying that he alongside Raila will be sworn in if Uhuru’s government ignores the call for electoral reforms.
