Wiper Party deputy leader Shakila Abdalla has rubbished claims linking her party boss Kalonzo Musyoka to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee party.Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of the People’s Assembly consultative meeting chaired by NASA leader Raila Odinga in Kilifi on Sunday, Shakila said Kalonzo is in NASA to stay. She claimed that some people are taking advantage of Kalonzo’s absence in the country to malign his name and link him to the Jubilee party. The former Lamu Women Rep asked NASA supporters to ignore the rumours, saying that Kalonzo cannot betray Raila.“Our party leader is firmly in NASA and those peddling rumours that he is joining Jubilee should stop because he will never betray his colleagues,” she said.Shakila said Kalonzo’s silence should not be interpreted to mean otherwise, noting that the former Vice President (VP) is in constant communication with Raila and other NASA leaders. The former Women Rep said Jubilee will not succeed in wooing Kalonzo out of the opposition. There have been speculations that Jubilee is wooing Kalonzo to ditch NASA.
