The widow to the late Juja MP George Thuo has moved to court to stop a a case that was filed agaimst her for having received Sh 28.5 million from Kenya Pipeline Company irregularly.

The two directors of a company known as 'Redline' Judy Wamaitha and Ngatia Ndunga were had won a tender to install transformers but allegedly received the payment but had not done the work.

The two argue that during the time of their investigation, EACC did not have commissioners rendering the charges against them ineffective. They want the court to discount their case on the grounds sated above. 

Charged alongside them were KPC managers who worked on the transaction.
