Former Lower Savanna MCA Alfred Ambani has gone missing.
This comes after Ambani reported to police that his life was in danger after he received death threats.
The EmbakasI East resident had reported that unknown people were trailing him.
According to his wife Maureen Ambani, the former MCA recently spoke of receiving strange text messages and calls from unknown people and reported the matter at the Embakasi police station on November 20 on OB/14/20/11/2017.
She said he has been missing for the past five days and that all his phones are off.
"Recently, a group of men waylaid him, beat him mercilessly and left him for the dead," she said as reported by the Star.
"He was taken to hospital by passers by and even before he recovered, he still received death threats."
