Bidco Africa has named Thiagarajan Ramamurthy its new Group Chief Executive Officer.
Current Group CEO and Founder Director Vimal Shah becomes the company’s chairman and will concentrate on Bidco Africa’s growth strategy and expansion into new product categories and markets.
“My brother Tarun and I will focus on mapping the company’s growth trajectory and identifying the right adjacencies for the business. The goal is to become a billion dollar business and to do that we have to grow 4 times. My new role is to figure how to make this happen,” Vimal said.
The Shah family have owned and managed the company for 32 years.
“TRM is a business leader with top-level experience and we are delighted to hand him the reins at this time. Bidco is entering a period of exponential growth and TRM has the right skillset to chart a winning way forward,” added Vimal.
