Lee Kinyanjui has clinched the Nakuru governor Jubilee ticket after garnering 216, 385 votes against Governor Kinuthia Mbugua’s 150,137.
Former NACADA boss John Mututho, who was also seeking the ticket, came third with 30,487 votes.
Governor Mbugua has disputed the results, citing discrepancies in some of the polling stations.
In the Senatorial race, county assembly speaker Susan Kihika emerged winner after getting 270,581 votes against Karanja Kabage who scored 49141 votes. Liza Chelule won the Woman Representative ticket after garnering 119,924 votes. Anne Karigu followed by 55,111 votes while Agnes Njambi got 39387 votes.
