Kenyans continue to mourn former NTV presenter Janet Kanini Ikua after news broke on Saturday morning that she is no more.
Close friends and former employer released the sad news that Kanini had died after a battle with cancer.
Nation Media Group’s NTV, Daily Nation tweeted that Kanini was no more. The Trend ’s Larry Madowo Larry Madowo also tweeted that Kanini had breathed her last Saturday morning. He described her as brave and inspiring.

Last year, she celebrated her valentine in a special way after doctors announced that she is cancer free.
Ikua strongly believed her healing was a miracle.
Doctors had told her that she had stage 4 lung cancer in September 2015.
