Former Presidential candidate Dr Ekuru Aukot on Monday May 7 accused KANU leader and Baringo Senator Gideon Moi and a section of the Senator’s allies of perpetrating banditry for political gains.
Dr Ekuru, who is also Thirdway Alliance leader called on the National Assembly to question the KANU leader and Tiaty MP William Kamket over recent remarks made over the geographical location of Kapedo.
MP Kamket claimed Kapedo, an area that has registered heart-wrenching banditry and killings is in Baringo County, a claim that Dr Ekuru now links to “primitive” incitement of residents.
Actually, the Thirdway Alliance leader claimed Mr Kamket was a “warlord” who was working for unidentified masters.
In a tweet seen by this writer, Dr Ekuru said; “We all know that the only way you (Kamket) can be politically relevant is to primitively incite your bandits against Ng’iturkana of Kapedo. That road is coming to an end, especially for you very soon. Watch this space"
In a quick rejoinder, however, Mr Kamket said it was Dr Ekuru Aukot who was seeking political relevance to battle for the Tiaty legislative seat in the next general election.
