Former Rangwe MP Dr Shem Ochuodho has told off Nasa for its continued criticism on the Jubilee government saying the opposition is no better either.
Speaking on NTV's breakfast show on Monday, Ochuodho said that though the Jubilee administration has failed on many fronts, he had no faith in Nasa as the right team to clear the 'mess' the country is in.
"I feel Jubilee is the problem but Nasa is not the solution. What have Nasa counties done for instance to address local issues at their disposal? Aren't they equally in a mess as the national government that they have now ganged up to dislodge?" said Ochuodho.
He added that the opposition is only specialising in criticising without giving any solution to anything saying that Nasa’s best bet is to make Kenyans lose hope.
"Nasa is only riding on Kenyans' sufferings with hopeless narratives without necessarily telling them how they will convert their problems into fortunes. They have no agenda," the former politician and a fierce critic of Raila Odinga added.
However, former Deputy Speaker Farah Maalim who was on the same forum defended Nasa saying they were the best antidote to Jubilee 'massive' failures.
"It is wrong to say that the opposition has no agenda. We have an agenda and one of our main target is to lower cost of living. See where the price of unga is now. Look at the debt that they have put this country in. Nasa is the answer to these problems," Maalim said.
