Coastal leaders allied to the Jubilee Party want NASA leaders who feel shortchanged in the recent parliamentary positions to abandon the opposition coalition and join Jubilee.
The leaders, who included Gideon Mung’aro urged the leaders in the coast region to join Jubilee and help strategies ahead of the 2022 general election.
A section of the NASA leaders in the region have hit out at the opposition for allegedly sidelining them in the allocation of positions in the parliamentary appointments.
“We also want to be included in those important meetings, we have been with them all through, from the time in CORD and now we are in NASA. We as NASA members in Coast think we have been sidelined,” said one of the leaders.
Mung’aro, who was once in the opposition camp before joining Jubilee urged his fellow leaders to make a good political choice.
“There is no day that you will be given a chance by this man (Raila), that is why he has taken all members from Nyanza,” said Mung’aro.
He added: “I want to ask all Coastal leaders to join Jubilee, so that we plan for the future of the region,”
