Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya has pledged to deliver over 100,000 votes to President Uhuru Kenyatta in the repeat presidential election.Speaking to journalists at the county offices in Kwale on Saturday, Mvurya said he will lead door to door campaigns in the county to ensure residents vote for Uhuru on October 17.Mvurya said Uhuru deserves re-election due to the development his government has achieved.The rebel ODM governor urged residents not to be swayed by NASA empty promises, adding that the Raila Odinga led outfit does not have an agenda for Kenyans.“We will be conducting door to door campaigns to ensure that our president wins re-election on October 17,” said Mvurya as quoted by the Star.Mvurya at the same time appealed to residents to remain peaceful as they wait to vote in the repeat presidential election.The Kwale Governor at the same time assured residents of heightened security before, during and after the fresh election.He said police are on alert, adding that residents should not fear for their safety.
