Former Rwanda international and Sofapaka keeper Evariste Mutuyimana has passed on.

Confirming the death, his club Rayon Sports said he died of heart attack Tuesday morning at home.

"We are very sad to announce the death of our reserve goal keeper MUTUYIMANA Evariste. We stand with his family and friends," Rayon Sports said as quoted by Futaa.

The Rwandese joined Batoto ba Mungu in 2014 after signing from Rwandan club SC Kiyovu and featured for Sofa until June 2016 when he left for Rayon Sports on a two-year contract.
