Wiper deputy leader and former Lagdera member of parliament aspirant, Farah Maalim, has on Tuesday referred to Kenya as a fallen state with reference to what happened to Miguna at JKIAl last night.
Mr. Maalim went ahead to liken Kenya to countries such as South Sudan
Farah Maalim was referring to the failure by the Jubilee government to obey court orders that had directed them to reinstate Miguna Miguna's passport.
"The court had already given orders for reinstatement of his own passport and when a country does not respect the rulings of his own judicial officers then we are no different from some of the failed states like South Sudan and many others," said Mr. Maalim.
Speaking during an interview in TV show this morning, the former speaker faulted the government's effort to go against the court ruling. Miguna Miguna was deported to Canada last month after he commissioned an 'oath-taking' by Orange Democratic Movement leader, Raila Odinga.
However, the court had since ruled against the deportation of Miguna Miguna and ordered the Ministry of Immigration to process and facilitate the return of the self-proclaimed NRM general.
An order that has since been defied by the government which once again made an effort to deport back Miguna upon his arrival at JKIA.
