Former TNA Secretary General Onyango Oloo has officially ditched Jubilee Party.

Mr Oloo played an instrumental role in President Uhuru Kenyatta's election in 2013.

He is among the few Jubilee politicians to took upon themselves to campaign for Mr Uhuru in Nyanza, a region where ODM party leader Raila Odinga enjoys massive support.

He was quoted by the Star saying he ditched Jubilee following leadership wrangles.

Oloo is among former TNA/URP leaders who were dropped from their respective party leadership positions after URP, TNA and other Jubilee parties dissolved and former Jubilee party.

"We have had a series of consultative meetings. Soon, we shall make a formal announcement," he said on Tuesday.

There have been leadership wrangles within Jubilee with small parties accusing the major parties of sidelining them in leadership positions.

Uhuru is expected to ride on Jubilee Party in defending his position as president in August.
