Former Citizen TV presenter Terryanne Chebet has been appointed the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Fanaka Television.
Chebet announced this last week through her social media, saying she is delighted to have joined the media outlet.
“Business Television is my life. It is with humility and lots of enthusiasm that I am proud to accept my appointment as the Chief Executive Officer of Fanaka Television, the first 24-hour business television in Kenya, we will cover business and the economy like in a way that has never been done in Kenya,” she said.
“What a pleasure to once again reconnect with Roberta Naicker, MD CNBC Africa after so many years and the very funny Chris Bishop who I worked with during my days at CNBC Africa," she added.
Chebet moved many Kenyans when she wrote a goodbye message as she left Royal Media services, in a downsizing exercise that saw many anchors and top employees lose their jobs.
Chebet is a business news anchor who has also build her name in the industry as an entrepreneur.
