Celebrated gospel singer and former Tusker Project Fame (TPF)winner Ruth Matete is set to wed his Nigerian fiancé later this year.
She revealed this during an interview on Pambio Live show on Maisha Magic East. The worship leader stated that God had answered her prayer and that she has found a man who she has always prayed for.Matete is set to wed John Apewajoye aka Mr Beloved John, a former law enforcement officer who is currently residing in Kenya.“I hoped that God would bring me a man who would stay someone who would understand my vision and he has finally answered my prayers as I am getting married this year,” she said.Previously, the singer disclosed that she had gone through a rough time hence suffered depression and became suicidal. The songstress has been keeping a low profile, especially on love matters after her break-up with the former Tahidi High actor, Prince Tsyder in 2014.
