Addressing Kitui Town residents on Saturday, the former Lands Cabinet Secretary (CS) accused foreign envoys of being hypocritical. Ngilu claimed that foreign envoys only speak on matters that are of interest to them and remain silent on matters that touch on the rights and welfare of humanity.The governor said that foreign envoys are pushing Raila to call off the swearing-in for them to collude with the Jubilee government and undermine human rights."Foreign envoys should give Kenyans a break and stop meddling in matters that do not concern them" she said.The NARC governor said that envoys are a let down to their call of dutyNgilu defended Raila's Tuesday swearing-in saying it will bring sanity into the country.She claimed that Jubilee government has messed up the country and denied Kenyans opportunity to enjoy their rights.The former Lands CS asked Kenyans to support Raila, saying that he cannot mess them up.Ngilu said that the country needs Raila's leadership to protect the rule of law and ensure equality and fairness.Preparations for Raila's Tuesday coronation are on top gear even as pressure mounts on him to call off the event.Raila maintain that he does not recognize Uhuru's presidency and that he will be sworn-in by the people's assembly.The government has warned Raila against swearing himself president saying that he risks arrest and prosecution for treason.On Friday, Raila said that he is not afraid of death, adding that his push for electoral justice and end to police brutality is unstoppable.
