The meeting comes barely two weeks after former Prime Minister Raila Odinga visited Moi.

Sources said the former Vice President is visiting to inquire about Moi’s health following his recent treatment in Israel.

Kalonzo served as Minister for Foreign Affairs between 1993 and 1998 under Moi’s regime.

In 1986, Moi appointed him assistant minister for Public Works, Housing and Physical Planning, a position he served until 1988.

He later became Kanu organizing secretary and deputy speaker of the National Assembly after recapturing his seat in the 1988 election.

The duo however fell out in 2002, after the former President chose Uhuru Kenyatta as his successor over a host of Kanu bigwigs who included Kalonzo.
