The ex-women rep spoke at the memorial for the late Nyeri Governor Wahome Gakuru on Tuesday. "Give me a job. I am now jobless but very ready to serve if given an opportunity," she said as reported by The Star. According to Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga the former women rep is a well established lawyer. Nyokabi is still yet to announce the job she is seeking from the governor but insists that she is up to the task should she be called upon. The appointment of Kahiga leaves the deputy governor position empty, however, the constitution does to clarify the method for filling the position. The former deputy governor's swearing-in follows the untimely death of former Nyeri governor Wahoma Gakuru.
