[Photo|the-star]Former Youth Enterprise Development Fund Chief Executive Officer, Catherine Namuye is dead.Nairobi County police commandant Japheth Koome told Daily Nation that Namuye died after collapsing at her Kileleshwa home.He said police were investigating to ascertain the cause of her death.Namuye was implicated to the Sh180 million Youth Fund scam, alongside former board chairman Bruce Odhiambo.The two, alongside directors of Quorandum Ltd, Mukuria Ngamau and Doreen Waithera were charged with 12 counts of corruption in 2016 but denied the charges.Namuye and Odhiambo were accused of receiving Sh4.5 million and Sh1.8 million in kickbacks from Quorandum Ltd, which had received funds from Youth Fund, for services, that were not rendered.
