Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama has urged county health workers to foster good relations with sick residents as a way of assuring them a quick recovery.
Addressing journalists moments after holding a breakfast meeting at a Nyamira hotel with medics, Nyagarama said there was a need for health workers to foster good relations with the ailing residents.
"We know that good relations between medics and the sick give the sick hope for quick recovery and that is why I am urging medics to ensure they foster the same," said the county boss.
Nyagarama further said his administration has put up measures to buy a vehicle to transport doctors to and from work.
"We are planning to buy a four-wheel drive vehicle for our doctors to ease their transportation," added Nyagarama.
