An NGO in Rarieda Sub County is appealing to parents and guardians with bright and needy students to seek for education bursary forms at their Madiany Office.

Netto Adhola Foundation founder Netto Adhola says they have set aside Sh 1 million that will cater for the needy secondary school students in first term.

 Adhola said that forms are freely available at the office and therefore called upon the parents of the needy students to ensure they apply for the bursary to enable their children get basic education.

Speaking in Rarieda he says after application the bursary committee will vet the applicants to ensure that only deserving students get the assistance.

“The cheques for successful beneficiaries will then be channelled to school bank accounts directly this term,’’ he said.

Adhola said that this committee will be working in consultation with other bursary committees like CDF, Ministry of Education and County Government to avoid duplications of funding.

He called upon this committee to ensure that deserving students are supported without any form of discrimination.

Adhola said local provincial administrators and school principals will be included to assist in identifying the most deserving students.
