Four people were arrested in Molo, Nakuru County after being found with counterfeit currency worth millions of shillings.

The money was in Kenya Shillings and American Dollars. 

Confirming the Saturday incident, Molo OCPD Paul Cheruiyot said the suspects were arrested with fake 20, 300 Dollars and additional fake notes valued at Ksh 80,000. 

Cheruiyot said that police officers also recovered a stamp, 2 bottles of chemicals, two rolls of aluminum foil and 3 bank slips. 

It is suspected that the penepharalia could have been used in making the fake money.

The arrest came courtesy of the public who informed officers about suspicious activities by the suspects. 

The three men and a lady will be arraigned in court on Monday.
