Four men were arraigned before a Molo court to answer charges of kidnapping and defiling two teenage girls.

The four accused persons are David Wadari, Kennedy Njuguna, Paul Chege and Harrison Mwangi.

The four were being accused of allegedly kidnapping and defiling the two girls and holding them hostage for a week.

The court heard that the accused person committed the offence on December 24, last year in Molo.

The mother of one of the girls said the two minors left their homes for town on the material date but never returned until they were spotted outside one of the homes in the area by residents who had heard that they were missing.

The court heard that the four accused persons allegedly defiled the girls and forced them to drink alcohol during the time they held them.

The two minors in their testimony told the court that the accused persons lured them into drinking alcohol before taking them to a nearby house where they defiled them.

The accused persons however denied the charges before Senior Resident Magistrate Ritah Amwayi and filed an application to be released on bail.

Magistrate Amwayi ordered for the four accused to be released on a Sh500,000 bond each pending the next case hearing.
