Four people were on Saturday killed in an accident at Getare, along the Kisii-Nyamira Road. According to Kisii County Police Commander Agnes Mudambi, the horror smash-up involved a Subaru sedan and a Toyota Probox.The Subaru was headed towards Nyamira when it collided head-on with the Probox which was headed for Kisii Town.Two people were killed on the spot while four others sustained critical injuries.They were rushed to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital, where another two succumbed to their injuries. The injured were named as John Otuke, Sharon Nyakwara, Geoffrey Ondieki and Daniel Ondieki, the Subaru driver.John Otuke and his daughter Sharon Nyakwara later succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
