They ranged from the governor post to the MP, as they called on locals to register as voters.

However during the Monday meeting, the National Assembly Majority Leader shared several translated quotes in Arabic language, which seemed to touch on his political rivals.

They include:

1. Talo walaal diide taagoogta ayuu kajabaa - One refusing a sibling's advice breaks his arm.

2. Aqoon la aani waa iftiin la aan ~ To be without knowledge is to be without light.

3. Ninkii is waalaba waabiyaa hela ~ The aggressive man ultimately encounters a more aggressive man

4. Waari mayside war hakaa hadho ~ You won’t live forever so leave a legacy.

''My advice to those who sit on the fence is that the train has left and community have spoken loud, clear and decisively on their political future,'' said the Jubilee allied lawmaker.

He further thanked all the leaders and residents of Mbalambala for making the rally successful.

"Our agenda is to continue making Garissa great,'' he said.
