Pregnant mothers must ensure they maintain a healthy body in order to have a smooth pregnancy period and also give birth to bouncing babies.

1. Alcohol
If you are booze lover, you will have to take a break a bit during this period. Shots of your favourite drink will impair your child’s growth. It can cause your baby to be born anaemic and with low blood pressure.
2. Oily fishOily fish such as tile and swordfish are harmful to your health during pregnancy. This is because they contain high levels of mercury and can lead to severe food poisoning and be harmful to your baby.
3. Mayonnaise
Avoid taking mayonnaise during your nine-month period to protect your baby. This is because mayonnaise contains raw eggs which are not good for pregnant mothers.
4. CaffeineAvoid taking lots of caffeine. In fact, keep away from caffeine during your pregnancy. Caffeine will lower the birth weight of your baby!
