The four are accused of murdering Katoine Ole Keshe on the October 9.

Nelly Ngovi, the state lawyer asked Judge Anyara Emukule to order the four guards to be remanded at the Njoro police station for approximately ten days to give the police ample time to complete their investigations.

David Mong'eri who is their defence lawyer told the court that it was unfair for the police to have hurriedly arrested and charged the four before they complete their investigation.

"I am asking the court to kindly allow me to observe the post-mortem examination that will be conducted on the murdered man," Mong'eri requested the court.

Justice Emukule ordered the four to be remanded in Njoro Police station so that they can be taken to a mental assessment at the nearest government hospital and also to allow the completion of the investigation.

He directed that they also appear in court on October 24 to plead to charges against them.
