Ex – Vice President Musalia Mudavadi has accused for commissioners of allegedly sabotaging IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati from executing his roles.
A detailed article by Saturday Standard revealed that Chebukati walked out of a plenary meeting on Wednesday when he was overwhelmed by commissioners in his attempt to have elections cancelled.
And in Mombasa, Mudavadi blamed four commissioners of allegedly taking instructions from President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.
“Uhuru and Ruto are working with four commissioners to frustrate Chebukati and this is completely unacceptable.
“We know that lady and two Somalis in the commission who are making things difficult and another guy from Rift Valley,” he said.
A thorough scrutiny shows he was making reference to Vice Chairperson Consolata Nkatha, Paul Kurgat, Abdi Guliye and Bola Moyu.
With most policies passed on the majority votes, it is believed that Chebukati only has an ear to only Roselyn Akombe and Margret Mwachanya.
