Petty crime within our counties CBDs seems to be spiralling and there is need for one to be on the look out.

Mugging is the most common crime in our towns and you might end up losing your phone and cash if you.

If you happen to visit Nakuru, here are places you only visit if you are loaded with 'kopa'.

Gioto

This is one hell of a place, especially at night. I know you would rarely visit this place because it's a den for ragamuffins. But if you are using the Nakuru-Kabarak route, and your car happens to break down at this area, run for your dear life!

Bondeni

This is a shanty my brother. It's Nakuru's Mathare ... dare not go here good people, unless you have a mtaa guy. Those boys with plaited hair and funny jeans will sweep you off your feet and by the time you are touching the ground, your timberland is gone.

Dumu

This is Nakuru's Sodom and Gomorrah. The place, at Maili Sita, is literred with shitty hookers. Those whose expiry date is long overdue, unless you are the dude who enjoys shagging a worn out sack, avoid this place.

Rooms here go for Sh100 and hookers charge 100 bob too, but hookers can lower their price if you want. But you might check in on January and wake up at the end of February. By that time, your phone will have been sold and the cash used to purchase fertilizer for the planting season.

Medical footbridge, Pinkam and CK patel

These places are hell at night guys. Walking past CK Patel along the Kenya Avenue means you bribe those ragamuffins around. It's bad late at night when the super has closed and tuk tuk guys left. Hapa usipite!

The same applies to outside Pinkam house which is their bedroom. Avoid it.

And the footbridge from the Nakuru-Nairobi highway toward Medi is the worst. Here, only those with steel balls pass through late at night.
