Only eight teams have managed to win the FIFA World Cup so far. The teams include Brazil, Germany, Italy, Uruguay Argentina, England, France and Spain.
Even though they could go all the way, many teams have won the hearts of fans with their impressive performances in the previous editions and this year too and we believe they will do wonders.
Here are four teams that they have the potential to take the tournament by storm
1. Iran
Iran is the only team that will pose a problem too for Portugal and Spain for top 2 spots. This is because of their manager Queiroz former man United coach who took the reins in 2011, months after guiding Portugal to the last 16 in South Africa.
The 65-year-old not only has everything running exactly how he wants on the pitch, he can be busy off it too. he could have know the playing style of Portugal to, because of the same players and same mentality and the good part about the manager he likes to keep everyone on their toes by creating tension. Just like Argentina-Iran match in 2014
2. Iceland
Despite arriving at Russia as the smallest country to qualify World Cup they are placed in group D alongside the likes of Argentine Croatia and Nigeria.
But let's not forget that Iceland has an ideal style of playing a major tournament since they are stubborn and very organized at the back and there is a big possibility they will reach the knockout stage.
3. Morocco
Morocco, who are in group B currently they face European champions Portugal and former World Champions Spain as well as the Islamic Republic of Iran.
However, Manager Herve Renard provides a wealth of experience and success, having won the Africa Cup of Nations title twice with Zambia and the Ivory Coast, who Morocco knocked out during qualifying.
4. Peru
Peru might not be the most popular team in the World Cup, but they will certainly be the most hard-working. Anyone who writes them off will have to do so at their own peril.
The two-time quarter-finalists (1970 and 1978) will be looking to improve their statistics in the tournament. They are in Group C alongside France, Australia, and Denmark. There is a big possibility that they might finish the top in their group.
