Many couples have embraced condoms in their marriage. Condoms not only protect us from unwanted pregnancies but also Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs). There are different things that occur in our bodies whenever we use condoms during sex. Here are four things that happen to your body when you use condoms
1. You may experience irritation
If you are allergic to latex then you are likely to experience irritation whenever you use condoms for sex. The skin reacts once it comes into contact with your body. The symptoms range from skin irritation to increased heart rate. You can also experience burning sensations and itchiness after sex.
2. The body can produce fewer antibodies against sperm
Some women experience the hindrance in the development of antibodies after using condoms during sex. The antibodies affect the movement of sperms, capacitation, inhibition of the embryo and fertilization among other functions in the body. It is theorized that the female body is less likely to produce antibodies whenever you use condoms during lovemaking.
3. No effect on your fertility
Does the use of condoms affect your fertility? Research shows that condoms do not affect your level of fertility. There have been myths that persons who use condoms are less likely to sire children, which is not true. There are other aspects that determine your level of fertility but condoms usage
4. You might be less happy
There are men and women who believe that they cannot enjoy sex if they are not using condoms. This group finds using condoms less interesting. A good number of persons with such thoughts do not enjoy making love to their spouses.
