Kenya's Supreme Court judges. [Photo: NMG]The Supreme Court judges on Sunday held a day-long meeting on to finalise their judgment on two petitions seeking to annul President Uhuru Kenyatta’s victory on October 26 election. If this happens, it will be the second time in three months it will be happening in Kenya, the first time in Africa and perhaps the world in general. All eyes from across the globe will be on Kenya as everyone seeks to find out how things turn out. However, what will be noteworthy is how both Jubilee and Nasa supporters react to the aftermath of the ruling. But whatever the case here are five things to avoid ahead, during and after the Supreme Court ruling.First, it will be absurd for anyone to go and camp around the Supreme Court building purporting to be following the ruling. If you have no business around the court, it will only be wise to stay away and follow the proceedings at home, office, a local joint where you can access a TV set because the ruling will be broadcast live across the country and beyond.Second, do not provoke the police wherever they will be stationed across the country to maintain law and order. As we may all agree, it is foolhardy to storm the streets and start challenging armed anti-riot police who will not hesitate to respond with maximum force as it has been witnessed over the past few weeks.Third, the hysterical response by either Nasa or Jubilee supporters after the Supreme Court ruling will be unnecessary. There will be literally nothing to celebrate. So far lives have been lost, properties destroyed and people maimed. Remember as you celebrate, there will be equally another person next door feeling the exact opposite. This can't brew peace and harmony in your hood. Finally, it will also be wise to avoid social media hate and ethnic profiling. If your message doesn't help the country move on from the current political standoff, simply switch off your phone, watch TV, listen to your favourite music or as well read a novel! You won't die for staying off social media a day or two.
