1. If you will be wearing your workout clothes all day long
Tight clothes such as leggings and spandex can interfere with air circulation. If they get dump during your work out session due to all the sweating, this will foster the growth of bacteria that can lead to infections. Always carry an extra pair of clean underwear whenever you hit the gym.
2. When you're wearing a short skirt
Thongs should not be worn with short skirts. You are more likely to sweep up different bacteria and viruses that can be found on various surfaces such as the seats in a bus.
3. You're prone to yeast infections
Is your body prone to bacterial and yeast infections? Thongs are not ideal for persons who are likely to suffer from yeast infections. These attires increase the spread of bacteria. Make sure you avoid thongs if you are prone to different infections.
4. You're pregnant
Women who are pregnant are advised to keep away from thongs. Pregnancy sometimes compromises the immune systems of women. Wearing a thong when pregnant will increase your chances of getting an infection.
