Four men have been sentenced to seven years imprisonment by a Kangundo Court for attempted armed burglary.
The four, Bernard Makau, Daniel Nthenge, Kioko Mulu and Dominic Sila were convicted on their own plea of guilt by resident Magistrate Nkini Sinkiyian.
The court had heard that the convicts were arrested at Tala town on December 17, last year, while armed with dangerous weapons and attempting to commit burglary.
The four, who were unrepresented had pleaded for leniency, saying they were first offenders but the magistrate dismissed their pleas saying that the offense was serious.
